In an effort to be more frugal and earth friendly, I've looked online for other ways to get beautified besides buying all those expensive products you find in stores, with all the toxic chemicals. So for a cheap, natural approach, I've found some interesting ideas on how to use eggs. Yes I said eggs. I never thought about putting egg whites on my face as a face mask. So I said why not, let's give this a try. Simple & Cheap!!
End Result: I have to say, this is one homemade beauty recipe I will continue using. I have combination skin so I was excited that this recipe claimed “for all skin types.” Well I tried it, and wow!! My face was very smooth and refreshing after I applied the homemade facial mask. The key though, is to keep it on until it completely dries and to use moisturizer once you’ve washed the mask off and pat dry your face. The moisturizing lotion helps keep in that moisture you just applied. Who woulda’ thought……

Now after using this recipe, I had left over egg yolk and really didn't know what to do with it. Of course me, I couldn't just throw it away. So once again I did some online searching and found another recipe for Homemade Egg Yolk Shampoo.
Now that just left me with the left over egg shells. And what ya' think this Frugal Sassy Wife did, she found an eco-friendly idea using it as a Compost.
