Recipe: Crockpot Ham & Veggies
Crock pot Ham & Veggies

Are you looking for an affordable, easy and simple dinner to make for the family? Look no further than my Crock pot Ham & Veggies recipe! Another great thing about this recipe is that it's low in carbs! Woo Hoo!!!
I just whipped this together so it's quite simple. All you need are a few ingredients, a little time, a voila dinner is served!
Ingredients:
1/2 bag carrots
1 can green beans
2 large slices of in bone ham
Allegro Hickory Smoked Marinade (just enough to cover the bottom of the crock pot)
Directions:
- Start off by pouring the Allegro Hickory Smoked marinade into the crock pot. Just enough to cover the bottom to your liking, enough to marinade your meat.
- Next add your veggies. I used about a half bag of mini peeled carrots and a can of green beans. Make sure you add the entire can of green beans (including water) into the crock pot.
- Either dice or cut your in bone ham slices into small sections and add to crock pot.
- Once all ingredients are in, stir to mix it all together and just let it cook.
- Cook on high for about an hour, or when meat is fully cooked.
- Serve and enjoy!

Make Commission off of online Gadgets!
Another easy way that you can save money is by making money with Affiliate Programs and Online Gadgets. You basically just put them on your site. I really hate annoying ads and popups so I do not use them, however I do use certain "gadgets" that make me a little money here and there.
A few Gadgets and Programs I use to make money:
- Coupons.com Brandcaster Affiliate Program
- Start making money by promoting offers and coupons from popular brands. All you need is a website and U.S. mailing address!
- Referral Links
- You can make some extra money just by posting your referral links (like swagbucks referral links etc) on your website or even on social media sites. With each new member that signs up using your referral link you can make some extra cash. Note: Each program is different and has their own rules.
- My Referral Links
Gadgets and Programs that I haven't tried yet:
- Google Adsense
- AdSense is a free, simple way to earn money by displaying targeted ads next to your online content. With AdSense, you can show relevant and engaging ads to your site visitors and even customize the look and feel of ads to match your website.
- Use Content Lockers
- Content locking involves denying access to a particular piece of content until a visitor completes a required action which can be low cost or free advertiser sponsored offer.
- Sell Text Links
Other ways to make money to save money:
- Add “hire me” page on your website
- If you like freelancing, you need to take advantage of opportunities on your website. Make sure you list all your skills and previous tasks and projects to help improve your chances of getting hired!
- Sell an Ebook
- Sell ebooks directly through your site about the things you love and already write about!

Collect, Earn Points, Take Surveys
For the past few years, I
have found ways around paying full price for items, getting things for free and
simply by earning money just by doing what I already do, like search and shop
online.
Last year alone, at
Christmas, I saved over $100 by using gift cards that I earned just by
collecting points and redeeming them in for gift cards just by simply searching
the web!
In addition, I also made
personal gift baskets for people just by putting together products I got at
discount by using coupons and by using Freebies I received in the mail!
It’s not that hard to get
the hang of it once you set things up and know your plan of action. The hard part is committing the time to do it
everyday in order to save money in the end!
That’s why I came up with a daily Earn
Money Check Off List! (You can find it below) It keeps me
organized and reminds me I need to do this
to collect points, etc. so I can save my family money and sometimes even make money!
First let me start off by
sharing with you the Reward Programs that I use on a daily basis!
Note: Each Program has
different criteria for earning other than what I use the programs for. For
example: I use Swagbucks mainly for searching, so I listed it under Searching
although you can also print coupons, take daily polls, etc to earn credit!

- Kellogg’s Family Rewards
- Buy Kellogg's Family Rewards Participating products, collect points by either: uploading receipt, connecting your loyality card to your account or simply entering codes!

- To get rewards you need Points, which you can earn by entering the codes found on the packaging of your favorite Coca-Cola brands.
- Then redeem those points for free stuff!

For (Searching) I use these:
- Bing Rewards
- Earn credits searching the web with Bing—similar to a frequent flyer program. Redeem credits for popular gift cards or even donate them to a charity of your choice. All you have to do is stay signed-in as you search with Bing.
- I love that I can transfer my points from Bing and put them into my Swagbucks account and get better deals on gift cards!

- Next, make sure you check these sites daily to take advantage of all the opportunities and free money! Set aside at least 30 minutes a day and make sure you make an intentional effort to do these daily tasks!

Become a Representative and/or Host House Parties
One idea I have found to
be the most fun when it comes to saving money is hosting house parties or even
becoming a representative of companies that you truly care about and are
willing to work for. If you find a
company that you truly and deeply care about, you will work that much harder at
helping that company succeed! In turn,
you either make profit or receive free products for your time and energy.
Hosting House parties is
another way that you can save money. You
can sign up with companies and programs where you receive free products in
exchange for throwing house parties and helping a company get their product out
there to the public. Some companies may
also require you to share your experiences online via photos, surveys, and
reviews.
There are tons of programs
out there! My best advice I can give is
do your own research and find one that fits into your schedule and one that you
really do care about!
